Susan Carlson Bynum began working with GTD in 2006. Previously, she served as Vice President of the Capitol Hill Consulting Group, a premier lobby firm in Washington, DC. She lobbied the US Congress on behalf of clients in the fields of aerospace, financial services, and pharmaceuticals. Ms. Bynum was active in the Washington, DC chapter of the University of Oklahoma alumni group and the Oklahoma State Society.

After graduating from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in journalism public relations and a minor concentration in business, Ms. Bynum worked in the Washington, DC office of US Rep Frank Lucas. Later, she moved to Sapulpa and worked as the Executive Director of the Sapulpa Chamber of Commerce.

Ms. Bynum currently resides in Tulsa with her husband, GT and son, Robert.
